We define ADULT EDUCATION as programs that develop basic skills in the areas of literacy and career readiness. Our services help build lifelong educational opportunities that inspires, prepares, and empowers all individuals, especially the under-prepared adults, with the knowledge and skills necessary to participate effectively as citizens, workers, parents and family members, and be contributing members of the local and global community. Parent University operates under Adult Education Programs to support and build capacity around TK-12 instruction in TTUSD and includes site and district level workshops related to student success, scholarships, transcripts, college admissions, FAFSA, and CTE readiness.
We thank the Placer Adult School Consortium for supporting our vision and helping us introduce the adult programs and services in our district. The programs listed below are possible through the AB104 block grant. TTUSD is currently offering the following services:
(A) Improved literacy skills
(B) Completion of high school diplomas or their recognized equivalents
(C) Completion of post-secondary certificates, degrees, or training programs
(D) Parental workshops through PIQE
